Orbis ring flash adapter is propably one of the hottest camera gadgets for this Christmas. I placed my order as soon as it was possible and I got it today via DHL. First impressions are real good and I like the results as well. I'm using it with Nikon SC-29 cable which makes handling quite good. D200 or D300 with battery pack is a bit heavy to carry with one hand although you can rest the lens on the orbis. Hand strap would possible work quite well with this combo. My both flashes Nikon SB-800 and also Nissin Di622 fit nicely to the orbis although the size difference between the flash heads is quite big.

Orbis was well packed with air bags on top and bottom. Below the air bag I noticed familiar package :)

Inside orbis there are reflective surfaces and tunnels. Light first hits silver triangle shaped mirror where its directed to reflective tunnels. |
