Lowepro Lumina Topload
For a while I've been searching for a single lens bag for my F80. Sometimes even small Nova 2 is too much. On a recent trip to Stockholm I ended to N&K's photo department and checked some of the bags they had. Suddenly I was holding a topload bag and checked the model and price, model was LowePro Lumina Topload and it had very same materials used as my OrionTrekker, even the color was same. I believe this bag is discontinued and therefore was pretty cheap.
Outside view
Outside bag has one mesh pocket for films or other stuff. Mesh pocket doesn't have a zipper. Bag itself has double zipper that closes the top so that zippers are against your body. Flap opens away from you so it can even give some shelter when loading film.
Inside view
Inside there are two pads (with flaps) and the camera rests on those. There is "hidden" rubber band film storage for two rolls under the flaps.
Conclusion
Lumina Topload is a good bag for one lens system. I tried at the shop all my lenses I had with me and one criteria to me was that it should take 70-300 installed, and it did. Strap that came with the bag is pretty bad as it doesn't have any padding. Therefore I switched straps with my Lowepro Nova 2 and now the Lumina feels much more comfortable. Lack of zippers or real front pocket is the thing that separates this bag from current Lowepro toploaders. Anyway, if you are not over critical and are able to find this bag for good price I can recommend it.
